The famous slow movement from Beethoven’s celebrated ‘Pathetique' Sonata for solo piano, arranged for two guitars. The beguilingly simple melody is shared between the two parts, then Guitar 1 takes the lead in the more demanding middle section. Originally in Ab Major, this version exploits the natural preference of the guitar in G Major. Capos at the 1st fret, or raising the pitch of the strings a semitone, will restore the original key, if desired.
