Composed for Descant Recorder with Guitar, these short appealing works also work well for flute and guitar. The soloist is encouraged to add their own embellishments on repeated sections and the ending of the 5th bagatelle is structured for free improvisation. Though intended in the order they are presented, a lesser number of them also works.
